Chevron patterns are still in fashion and there is no reason not to carry this pattern into something functional and that can be put to use by anyone. With that in mind I decided to create personalized chevron notebooks that are easy to make. You can make these monogram notebooks for you or your friends. You only need a few things and really gorgeous paper to make this useful and special project. This custom project cannot get any simpler.

Fall is falling fast and this means time to change up your decor. I had a small and casual brunch at my home and wanted to dress my table for the Fall season. Although I wanted to have a Fall feeling, I did not want to use orange because it does not work with my decor so I went with a gold leaf motif. An illusion necklace is a necklace made up of beads that almost appear to be floating because the wire the are resting on is fine and delicate. These necklaces are beautiful and versatile as many types of beads can be utilized in the design. In this DIY lesson I am going to show you how to make one. Honestly, it is not difficult. Embellish your boring candles DIY! I love scented candles from Bath & Body Works; I love the way they smell and I love the quality of the design. However they are pricey unless you are purchasing them on sale or with a coupon. Whenever my B&B candles are burned out and I opt to purchase a more affordable candle from the drug store or supermarket I am not always satisfied with the way they look. My solution to this problem.... Chic it up. With a few materials you can Chic up those plain candles to  accent your decor.

Very easy romantic and Soothing Candle Shade DIY. A tea light candle and a wine glass can be recreated into a Chic candle holder with a few choice materials and tools. When you combine vellum sheets or even tracing paper around a wine glass you get easy, romantic and simple Vellum DIY Candle Lampshades. Take a look at the video to see how easy this is.

No sew pearl collar DIY, How to add Pearls to a shirt with a collar. Hi Chic peeps (short for people :) Chicters, I was shopping recently and saw a fabulous mint blouse with a studded collar that I adored; however I did not adore the price tag. The blouse had pearls and small metal studs at the bottom end of the collar; this was the only embellishment I assume that brought the price tag up so high. Well, I thought to myself 'There is no way I am paying that, I can get this look for less.' This thought led to this DIY; the possibilities are endless. What you would need: A collared shirt Fabric Glue Self Adhesive Pearl stickers (Find these in the Stationery or sticker section at Craft stores) Watch the video and see how easy this really is.

I love Do It Yourself projects and don't mind getting into complex projects; but when it comes to my readers and subscribers I really love bringing you DIY's that are simple to create and Chic too. This current DIY features a very easy to make Dangle earring. These darling drop and dangly earrings do not require many tools and can be customized in so many ways to fit different items in your wardrobe.   View the DIY video for more details:

The trend of pastel colors continues and so does stacking your bracelets in multiples. Chic Design Cafe has combined both of these trends in an oh so easy do it yourself project. You only need a few items to start and the steps are so simple. The Project Breakdown: 1. You will need: Stretch Magic Jewelry Cord (available at craft stores), Colored glass or real pearls, Scissors and Tape. 2. Wrap the Stretch Magic cord around your wrist at least 1 and a half times. 3. Cut the cord at that point. 4. Tape one end of the cord down unto your work surface. This prevents beads from sliding off. 5. Begin to string the beads until you have about a inch and a half on either end of bracelet. 6. Remove the tape from work surface and bracelet end carefully, and tie your first knot. Repeat 4 times. Trim off excess cord and you are done. Fabulous and easy stackable bracelets. Valentine's Day is closely upon us and many people are looking for something sweet to do for someone else. I have an idea,what is sweeter than a delicious cupcake? Baking a simple batch of cupcakes then decorating them with chic and personalized DIY inserts will indulge one or a few special friends or loved ones. I collaborated with Cupcake Cutie for a Valentine Cupcake DIY. Watch the video below to see just how we created lovely Valentine bites of joy! By the way, the cupcakes came out beautiful and they were delicious too. Yum!
